ZeN is an award winning portable and driverless spreadsheet desktop database for Microsoft Windows, designed for fast and simple binary data storage and protection.

ZeN is therefore free from all but necessary functions. Today, most users already own several multimedia and scripting programs for standard purposes. For example print option is not build in ZeN as you can easily export your ZeN data and print or preview them from your favorite text viewer program such as Notepad or even Microsoft Excel.

In addition, ZeN can import data from following file types: *.xl;*.xls;*.xlt;*.xla;*.xls;*.xlsx;*.xlsm;*.prn; and *.txt.

Export into Excel (xls) file is available as well.

ZeN 2010 introduces codeless programming buttons. You can create your functions simply by selecting and adding them into your custom button property!

On most newer Windows systems, downloading 1.75 MB  EXE file will be enough to run ZeN: no need for MSI setup file. Also, simple copy-paste same exe file to new computer and ZeN will run without problems! Copy ZeN “System” folder will transfer all your settings, custom buttons, and files! Its truly copy-paste simple to distribute ZeN!
