How to remove Flash9.ocx from Windows XP, Vista
Removal of annoying Flash9f.ocx file that stays present even after you uninstall or upgrade Adobe’s Flash player seams nearly imposable. Geniuses from Adobe claim that they (?!?) don’t allow you to remove this freak file from YOUR OWN computer because they don’t want some other bad guys products (like malicious software) to claim that Flash9f.ocx is made by them (?!?) Go figure. Anyway, here is very simple way to clean your rightfully owned hardware from this peace of (adobe) work: Double Click on MY computer, then C drive (assuming this is where your windows is) then click on Folder Options, View Show Hidden Files and Folders. You will be able to see your hidden “Recycler” folder now. Open another windows explorer; find and drag Flash9f.ocx into “Recycler” folder and you are free.Just make sure you return folder options to “Do Not Show Hidden Files…” so you don’t delete by accident some legit system files or folders.
